An Iranian police chase claims the life of a young Kurdish boy and threatens the lives of two others/ Photos

Hengaw: A 12-year-old Kurdish teenager was killed and two others were injured in Asfariyn in a police chase. According to reports received by Hengaw, on Thursday, 6 July at 9 pm, three young Kurds in Asfariyn in the Khorasan province were run over during a police chase. A source tells Hengaw, that one of those injured died as a result of his injuries and the other two are under doctor's care where one of them is said to be in critical condition. The people of Asfariyn took to the streets protesting the incident which led to further conflict between the law enforcement agencies and the Kurdish residents where a number of the police cars were damaged sources tell Hengaw. The source also reported that since then the security forces have set up security checkpoints, police and intelligence agents have dressed in civilian clothing watching and checking peoples' every move.
