Kurdish Female Activist Briefly Detained in Saqqez

Hengaw: Iranian security forces detained a Kurdish civil rights activist in Saqqez, northwest of the country, last week after raiding here home and seizing belongings.
According to the information obtained by Hangaw, Fatemeh Almasi, a retired teacher and female activist, was released on bail after days under arrest.
The security forces have confiscated Almasi's computer and other belongings after they searched her place, a family friend of Almasi said.
However, she was called for further interrogations by the Iranian intelligence service in Saqqez on 1st of August. She was detained three times during the past few years.
