 Hengaw: Following the wave of mass detention of Kurdish citizens, at least 6 other citizens have been detained by Iranian Security Forces in the cities of Sanandaj, Paveh, Divandere and Oshnavieyh.

  According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, January 31, 2021, Iranian security forces in  Sanandaj detained a journalist identified as "Mahmoud Mahmoudi" and transferred him to an unknown location.
 According to an informed source, Mahmoud Mahmoudi was one of the authors of the weekly "Agrin Roj "  magazine and in recent days published a letter alongside other Kurdish civil activists expressing concern over the mass detention of Kurdish citizens and calling for their immediate release.

 On the evening of the same day, Iranin security forces raided the home of a Kurdish citizen identified as  "Aziz Qader Taj" in Oshnaviyeh district of West Azerbaijan ( Urmia) province and detained him.  Aziz Qadertaj is a teacher in Nazriveh village’s primary school.

 Also, Iranian security forces detained 3  young Kurdish men in the village of "Banehoreh" in Paveh district of Kermanshah province and transferred them to an unknown location.

 Hengaw’s correspondent in Paveh announced the identities of these 3  citizens as Bahman Fattahi, Abed Fathi and Malik Karimi.
Also on Friday, January 29, 2021 , a Kurdish citizen from Diwandara district of Kurdistan province identified as "Idris Weisi ", was detained  by Iranian security forces and taken to an unknown location.

 As of preparation of this report , the reason of detention or the charges against these 6 citizens, as well as their whereabouts, are unknown.

 At least 95 Kurdish citizens have been detained by Iranian security forces over the past three weeks, according to statistics recorded by Hengaw Human Rights Organization's Statistics and Documentation Data Center.
