Henagw : Last week, Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (intelligence forces ) killed a Kurdish citizen in a village near Maku district of West Azerbaijan ( Urmia) province . Based on the reports , two other citizens have been arrested in this regard, one of whom is 16 years old.
According to a report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, April 14, 2021, the Iranian intelligence forces of Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps of Urmia surrounded the house of a citizen in the village of Molik in Maku and stormed the house with heavy and light weapons .
According to Hengaw’s sources, a citizen identified as "Ahmed Arsen" was seriously wounded as a result of the shooting by Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps forces. Eyewitnesses reported that Ahmed Arsen, who was severely wounded was wrapped in a blanket and taken away, and two days later his family was informed that Ahmad had died.
Ahmed Arsan was from the village of Polakand and was a taxi driver.
On the same day, two other citizens, 16-year-old Shahram Arsen (Ahmad’s niece) and Ali (unknown surname ), were arrested by IRGC intelligence forces in Maku.
Based on reports , two other people who were trapped inside the house managed to escape. A resident of the village also told Hengaw that "security forces surrounded and stormed the house under the pretext of the presence of a number of members of a Kurdish political party."
According to a source close to Arsen's family, IRGC forces forced them to hold a funeral after several days without giving any explanation or handing over his body.
It is worth mentioning that Shahram Arsen has been temporarily released on bail from prison after a week of detention. There is no news about the fate of "Ali", another detained citizen.
