Hengaw: With the arrest of another Kurdish civil activist in Sanandaj, the number of detainees in this city reached four today, and the number of detainees is likely to increase soon.

According to a report received by Hengaw  Human Rights Organization,

On Saturday, April 24, 2021, the Iranian Intelligence forces in Sanandaj raided the house of" Mehdi Seifi ", a civil activist and an active member of the" Kurdistan Life "campaign (Kurdistan Revival Campaign) Attacked and arrested him.

Earlier, three other members of this campaign had been arrested, including 63-year-old Ataullah Rezarbabi, Marzieh Gholamovisi, and her son Sirvan Abdullahi.

Sources said that during the arrest of the four citizens, the Iranian intelligence services searched their homes and confiscated their mobile phones and other personal belongings.

According to an informed source, the four Kurdish activists have been arrested in connection with their civic activities during the campaign.

It is worth mentioning that Marzieh Gholamavisi was a former Kurdish political prisoner and was imprisoned in Evin Prison in Tehran in 1980.

The four Kurdish citizens were transferred to an unknown location after their arrest, and their fate is unknown.
