In recent days, at least three citizens from Sarpol-e-Zahab city in Kermanshah province, including Dr. Ali Delbakhteh, have been arrested by security agencies for protesting against the high prices and the increase in the food prices.
As of this writing, two of these detainees, Ali Delbakhteh and Yazdan Javanmiri, have been identified, and the identity of the other one has not been verified yet.
Hengaw was informed that these people were detained by the security forces after protesting against high prices, and there is no exact information available about their fate and whereabouts.
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Ali Delbakhteh is one of the most well-known and devoted physicians in the region, who is currently serving people in Ezgeleh, the earthquake-stricken area.
