Two citizens from Laj village of Mahabad, called Taher Katani, 43, and Amir Baboli, 40, were arrested by IRGC intelligence forces in the morning on Saturday, July 16, 2022, and taken to an unknown location.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, the IRGC intelligence forces raided the houses of the two citizens at 6 am and arrested them. They searched their houses without providing any judicial documents.
As of this writing, there is no detailed information available about the reasons for the arrest and the charges against the two citizens, and their fate and whereabouts are unknown.
