following the systematic killing of Kolbars by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the wounding of two more Kolbars called Shoresh Bashbelaghi from Saqqez and Zana Esmaili from Marivan, the number of Kolbars who have been injured by the forces in the last five days has reached 16.
According to the report received by Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Monday, September 5, 2022, a Kolbar identified as Shoresh Bashbelaghi, 37, was shot and seriously injured in the arm and leg as a result of the direct fire on the border forces towards the Kolbars at the Hangazhal border.
Shoresh Bashbelaghi is from Saqqez, married, and has two children.
On the other hand, on Saturday, September 3, a Kolbar identified as Zana Esmaili, 22, from Marivan was wounded by direct fire from border forces while kolbaring at the Nowsud border.
The young Kolbar was shot with a shotgun and 14 bullets hit his body.
Based on the statistics recorded in the Statistics and Documents Center of Hengaw Human Rights Organization, since the beginning of September (5 days), at least 16 Kolars have been injured by direct fire from the Islamic Republic of Iran border forces on the borders of the cities of Nowsud, Marivan, Baneh, and Sardasht.
