Hamed Heidari, the world championship gold medalist, who was kidnapped during the funeral of Nika Shakrami, one of the victims of the recent protests, has been threatened by several unknown people in Khorram Abad Central Prison.
According to the report received by the Hengaw human rights organization, this athlete from Khorramabad was kidnapped on Monday, October 3, 2020, along with a group of protesters and activists by IRGC intelligence on Jalal Street in Khorramabad, and after a week he was transferred to the central prison of this city.
Hamed Heidari, born in 1987 in Khorramabad, has a gold medal in the bench press from the 2021 World Championships in Russia.
