After spending 12 days in the hospital, a second Bukan resident who had been critically wounded by direct fire from the IRI government forces during this city's popular resistance passed away.
A 20-year-old resident of Bukan named Awat Qadirpour passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, as a result of severe wounds brought on by government troops' bullets in Arefian Hospital in Urmia, according to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights.
On Friday, November 18, IRI security forces stationed at the "Nachit" checkpoint opened fire on this civilian in his vehicle using a military weapon.
