Ambiguity in the situation of 24 arrested and kidnapped citizens of Dehgolan city

In the past 12 days, at least 24 Kurdish citizens from Dehgolan city have been arrested or abducted by Iranian government forces, and their fate and whereabouts are still unknown.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, 19-year-old Navid Soltani was abducted by government forces in Dehgolan. On Tuesday, November 29, Zana Ahmadi, Saleh's child, was abducted and transferred to an unknown location.

Also, on Sunday, November 27, 2022, Soran Hossein Panahi, a resident of Qoruchia village, Dehgolan county, was transferred to an unknown place after being arrested.

On Sunday, November 20, 2022, Chiako Mohammadi, a resident of Dehgolan, was abducted by Iranian government forces while violently and physically assaulting his parents. On the same day, Iranian government forces abducted Farid Rostami, from Qurochia, and Anwar Shaker, from Sis village.

The repression continued on November 20, 2022, with the abduction of two more citizens, Shahram Mansouri and Ali Javanmardi, in Dehgolan.

According to Hengaw, a child named Mohammad Hossein Panahi, Arslan Hossein Panahi, son of Mohammad Amin, Siamak Hossein Panahi, Behzad Hossein Panahi, and Ali Hossein Panahi were arrested in the Qoruchia village on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

Reports from Dehgolan indicate that on Friday, November 18, 2022, Saman Khaledian, Sanan Hossein Panahi, Behzad Hossein Panahi, and Ali Mohammad Hossein Panahi from the village of Qurochia, as well as Ansar Rahimi, a resident of Dehgolan, were transferred to an unknown location after being abducted by Iranian government forces.

Also, during the mentioned days, Fardin Hamidi, Yasin Fathi, Kamran Fathi, Omid Barkhasi, and Mohammad Qadri, all citizens of Dehgolan, were arrested, and their fate is still unknown.
