Following the widespread participation of business owners in Sanandaj in the strikes, the Iranian government institutions have started applying additional pressure against these people. In this regard, the identities of the five citizens arrested in Sanandaj, named Amjad Hossein Panahi, Mansour Mohammadzadeh, Ardeshir Moradi, Hossein Kakekhani, and Wirya Perkan, have been confirmed to Hengaw.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, December 11, 2022, the Iranian government forces arrested Amjad Hossein Panahi, the owner, and manager of the Zana store located on Ferdowsi Street, at his home.

The store under the management and ownership of this citizen was previously blocked by Iranian government institutions, and his bank account was also blocked due to his participation in recent strikes.

According to informed sources, on the same day, Hossein Kakekhani, a 50-year-old mechanic, and Wirya Perkin, a 35-year-old turner, were kidnapped by Iranian government forces in front of their shops located on Farah Street.

In a similar event, on Friday, December 9, 2022, Mansour Mohammadzadeh, a marketer from Sanandaj and a resident of the Zagros neighborhood of this city, was arrested by the Iranian government forces.
He is the owner of the Asal sweet shop in Ferdowsi St., Sanandaj. This citizen's shop has been sealed by the Iranian government institutions due to his participation in the recent strikes, and his bank account has also been blocked.
 
Also, on Thursday, December 8, 2022, the mechanic shop of a citizen named Ardeshir Moradi was sealed in Nebowat Square, Sanandaj, and he was arrested by the Iranian government forces.
