A middle school was attacked by Iranian government forces in Javanroud and a teacher was kidnapped

Entering Motahari Middle School in Javanroud without a warrant, the Iranian government forces terrorized the staff and children before abducting one of the teachers in front of his students.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, before noon on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, three Iranian government forces entered one of the classrooms of Motahari School in Javanroud and kidnapped Abdul Karim Mohammadi, a math teacher, and transferred him to an unknown location.

The Iranian government forces first entered the schoolyard with a Pride vehicle, and then, while entering the classroom, they checked the students' textbooks and destroyed the property, including tables and chairs.

Shortly after the destruction of property and the arrest of Abdul Karim Mohammadi, another car belonging to Iranian government institutions, this time with four passengers, attacked this school again.

According to informed sources, both actions of the government forces were met with strong reactions from the students, and the atmosphere of the Motahari school was tense for several hours as a result of the entry of these forces.
