Mohsen Sohrabi, a doctor from Bukan working at Kowsar Hospital in Sanandaj, was abducted by Iranian government forces, and his whereabouts are still unknown.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Sunday, January 1, 2023, Mohsen Sohrabi, from Bukan, was abducted by Iranian government forces after leaving Kowsar Hospital at the end of his work shift.
It should be noted that, before his arrest, the security forces in Sanandaj summoned him on Saturday, December 31, 2022.
According to an informed source, the forces of the intelligence department stormed his house in Sanandaj and searched it while Mohsen was detained by them.
It is worth mentioning that the security of Kawsar Sanandaj Hospital has recently obtained a written commitment from this doctor, and on the other hand, government institutions have threatened him by phone many times.
Mohsen Sohrabi is one of the founders of the Tishk Mehr Charity Board for Sanandaj Children and also competes professionally in weightlifting. He has won titles at the national level.
After nearly a week has passed since the arrest of this citizen, no information about his fate and whereabouts has been made available, and the government institutions have left his family's appeals unanswered.
