Kurdish man, Peyman Nadrian, violently arrested in Marivan

Iranian security forces violently arrested Kurdish man Peyman Nadrian, 22, from the village of Darnakhe near Marivan, and transferred him to an undisclosed location.

According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the arrest took place at dawn on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. 

Security forces raided Nadrian’s family home, beat him severely, and confiscated his mobile phone.

No information is available regarding the reasons for his arrest, the charges against him, his place of detention, or his current condition.
