A man from Kelah Rash-e Bala village in Selmas city named Darya Mikaeili, 23, was killed by direct fire from Iranian government forces.
According to reports received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Darya Mikaeili, who was wounded in the leg by direct fire from the government forces last week, died in Urmia's Khomeini hospital on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
According to an informed source, on February 3, 2023, government forces acting on suspicion of illegal goods opened fire on this man's vehicle in an Urmia neighborhood without warning.
