Yunes Mahmudzadeh, 32, of Bukan, who was arrested by government forces in September last year, was recently sentenced to three years and eight months of imprisonment by the city's criminal court.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Yunes Mahmudzadeh was recently sentenced to 3 years and 8 months in prison by Branch 101 of the Bukan Criminal Court for the charge of "cooperation with the Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK)".
Yunes Mahmudzadeh, a resident of "Baghda Daghi" village, Bukan, was arrested by government forces on Monday, August 29, 2022, without providing any judicial documents.
After spending an interrogation period in the detention center of government institutions, he was finally released temporarily on September 11 with a bail of 100 million tomans until the end of the proceedings.
It should be noted that Yunes Mahmoodzadeh was deprived of access to a lawyer during his detention and even in the court session.
