Organized chemical attacks continue on schools; At least 10 schools were targeted in one day

 Organized chemical attacks on various schools in Tehran, Karaj, Urmia, Khoy, Sanandaj, and Kermanshah continue.  As a result of these attacks, a large number of students from ten girls' schools were poisoned and taken to medical centers.
 
 According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization For Human Rights, on Monday, April 10, 2023, Farzangan girls' school and also an elementary school in Urmia City were targeted by chemical gases.
 
 At the same time, Narges girls' schools in Khoy and Mahdiyeh, Qudousi, Fatemeh al-Zahra, and Esmat girls' schools in Kermanshah were targeted.  This attack also caused severe poisoning of the students and their transfer to medical centers.
 
 Also, a chemical attack was reported at Farzangah girls' school in Sanandaj, during which at least 8 students were poisoned by inhaling toxic gases.
 
 These attacks were carried out in Bint Al-Hoda Girls' High School in Tehran and Sadr Girls' School in Karaj as well. The footage published from Tehran's Bint Al-Hoda School indicated the large presence of government forces on the premises of this educational center.
 
 In this connection, today, following the previous call of students in Seqqes to on a strike in protest against the organized chemical attacks on schools, a general strike was held in this city.

 On the other hand, the Kurdistan Teachers' Union (Saqqez and Ziviyeh) published a statement saying that the poisoning of students was systematic and organized.  In the continuation of this statement, it is stated that the perpetrators have the support of the authorities who are continuing this act.

 In this regard, Hengaw has received a request from several school administrators in Baneh, in which they requested to inform the parents of the students to protect the lives and safety of their children, they should refrain from sending their children to school until full security is established. 

 Also, students in Saqqez have announced that they will refuse to attend classes on Tuesday.
