Ali GolMohammadi, who had spent a couple months in a government detention center, has been sentenced to 32 months' imprisonment by the criminal court of Bukan.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Ali GolMohammadi from Bukan has been sentenced to 32 months of imprisonment by the second branch of the criminal court of Bukan on charges of "connection with a Kurdish oppression party, participating in protests against the Iranian government, and distributing flyers and announcements against the government".
According to an informed source, the verdict was presented to Mr. GolMohammadi last week by the criminal court of Bukan.
Mr. GolMohammadi was taken into custody by the Iranian authorities on January 15th, 2023, and a month later, on February 16th, 2023, he was released on bail while waiting for trial.
It is worth noticing that Ali GolMohammadi was deprived of his basic rights, including access to a lawyer and the right to visitation.
