Five Turkish civil activists arrested in Tabriz

Hamzeh Valizadeh, Ruhollah Ahmadinezhad, Javad Ahmadzadeh, Alireza Sabri, and Davoud Shiri, five Turkish civil activists from Tabriz, were arrested by the Iranian government forces and transferred to an unknown location.
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Thursday, May 18, 2023, Hamzeh Valizadeh, Ruhollah Ahmadinezhad, Javad Ahmadzadeh, Alireza Sabri and Davoud Shiri, five Azerbaijani-Turkish activists were arrested by the Iranian government forces in Tabriz.
 

During the arrest of these five Turkish civil activists, the Iranian government forces, while searching their homes, confiscated their personal belongings, including mobile phones and computers.
 

In the meantime, Davoud Shiri has been arrested by the Iranian government forces and judicial verdicts have been issued against him.
 

There is no precise information about the reasons for the arrest and the charges against Hamzeh Valizadeh, Ruhollah Ahmadinezhad, Javad Ahmadzadeh, Alireza Sabri, and Davoud Shiri, as well as their whereabouts.
