The Iranian authorities detained Hossein and Mahdi, two brothers of Majid Kazemi, one of the three protesters from the "Khane Isfahan" case who were executed, and his sister Sumayeh.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Sumayeh Kazemi, sister of Majid Kazemi, was arrested by government forces on Sunday, May 21, 2023.

"The brothers of Majid Kazemi, Hossein, and Mahdi, have been arrested by government authorities for unknown reasons,",  Muhammad Hashemi, a cousin of Majid Kazemi, wrote in a tweet.

Sumayeh Kazemi recently stated in a public interview that "the only documentation of this case is the quotes of others," despite the case against his executed brother having several obvious flaws.

She highlighted in this interview that our demand is for documents to prove that my brother was there when the murder was committed.

Majid Kazemi, Saeed Yaqoubi, and Saleh Mirhashmi, the three defendants in the "Khane Isfahan" case, were executed in the central prison of Isfahan.
