Hamida Zraei, who was arrested before during the "Jin, Jiyan, Azadî" revolutionary movement, was rearrested by government forces in Karaj.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, May 29, 2023, Hamida Zraei, a resident of Karaj, was arrested at her home by government forces.
On the first days of May, on charges of "propaganda against the regime in favor of opposition groups," she was summoned to the Investigation Department of the General and Revolutionary Court of Karaj.
Previously, on Thursday, November 3, 2022, during the 40th day of mourning for Hadis Najafy in Karaj, Hamida Zraei was arrested and taken to Kaju'i Prison. After three months, she was released on February 7, 2023, on an amnesty fellowship.
