Shahdokht Khanjani, a Bahaii follower from Semnan, was arrested by government forces and taken to an unknown place.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, May 29, 2023, Shahdokht Khanjani from Semnan, a mother of two children and a follower of the Bahaii religion, was arrested by government forces in her home.
According to informed sources, government forces searched her home during the arrest of this Bahaii follower and confiscated some of her personal belongings and took them with them.
Until the moment of writing this report, no information has been made available about the reasons for the arrest, the place of detention, or the charges against this Bahaii follower.
