In a significant turn of events, Mohammad Bazani, a prisoner from Javanrud, has been granted Pardon and released from the Dizelabad prison in Kermanshah (Kermashan).
Previously convicted and sentenced to death for homicide, his liberation came about with the full consent of the victim’s parents.
According to a report obtained by the Hengaw organization for human rights, on Wednesday June 7, 2023, Mohammad Bazani, 58 years old, previously convicted to first degree felony has been spared from the impending execution and subsequently set free from the confines of Dieselabad prison in Kermanshah.
Hengaw has been informed that This elderly inmate was initially arrested fifteen years ago, during which he was charged with premeditated murder and subsequently received a death sentence by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
