While the news of the arrest of nine Baloch citizens in Zahedan was announced earlier, with the identification of eight more people, the number of people arrested last Friday in this city has reached at least 17 people. The identities of these eight people, named Ali Zardkouhi, Ebrahim Mirkazehi, Hamed Mirkazehi, Abdul Basit Kashani, Mohammad Sadegh Barahui, Abdullah Bazanzehi, and two citizens under the age of 18, named Erfan Kebdani and Nima Kebdani, have been confirmed.
According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Friday, June 9, 2023, Ebrahim Mirkazehi, Hamed Mirkazehi, Abdul Basit Kashani, Mohammad Sadegh Brahui, Abdullah Bazanzehi, Ali Zardkohi and two teenagers named Erfan Kabadani, 17 years old and 16-year-old Nima Kebdani were arrested by the Iranian government forces in Zahedan city.
Earlier Hengaw reported the arrest of Yaser Totazahi, Ruhollah Shahbakhsh, Hamed Kharkohi, and Ali Rigi, members of Makki Mosque's arrangement teams by the Iranian government forces.
Also, on Friday afternoon, Parviz Rigi, Abdullah Khorot, Saeed Gergij, Ebrahim Gergij, and Ali Zardkohi, Baloch citizens from Zahedan, were arrested by the Iranian government forces and severely beaten.
Up to this moment, no detailed information has been made available about the accusations, location, and conditions of detention of these Baloch citizens after being arrested.
