In an alarming incident, Kawe Bahmani, a resident of Sanandaj and an employee at the local university, has been forcefully detained by government forces.
According to a report obtained by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Wednesday, June 7th, 2023, Kawe Bahmani from Sanandaj has been taken into custody by the government authorities.
An informed source revealed that Mr. Bahmani's detention took place at his workplace, where he served as an administrative employee at Sanandaj public University.
Despite the devoted efforts made by Mr. Bahmani's family and relatives to inquire about his custodial status, no substantial progress has been made as of the time of reporting. Regrettably, his whereabouts and current condition remain undisclosed, leaving his loved ones in a state of distress and uncertainty.
