The number of individuals detained in Piranshahr by government forces has recently risen to at least eleven, following the identification and apprehension of another resident named Taher Rasouli during the current week.
 

According to a report obtained by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Monday, June 11th,  2023, the intelligence agency of Piranshahr conducted a raid on Taher Rasouli's residence in Piranshahr, subsequently detained and relocated him to an undisclosed location.
 

Hengaw had previously reported the arrest of Abdulrahman Qeitaran and Sadraddin Qeitaran, siblings from the village of "Kani Mala," on the same Monday. Additionally, Khezer Mohammadpour and Habib Khoshnood, two other residents of Kani Mala, were apprehended in a different village within Piranshahr called "Ashnozang."
 

Furthermore, on that same day, Jamal Rasoulzadeh and Mohammad Mahmoud Feghah, two individuals from the village of "Khorinj" in Piranshahr county, were also arrested.
 

Following the trend of arrests during the week, Rasoul Javadi Far, Musa Ardeshiri, Mohsen Javadi Far, and Shafeh Azir, all from the village of "Pisveh" on the outskirts of Piranshahr, were detained by the intelligence forces of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
 

Hengaw, citing its informed sources, reported that Rasoul Javadi Far and Musa Ardeshiri were released following a one-day interrogation; however, their mobile phones were confiscated and remain in the possession of the Revolutionary Guard Corps. Regarding the custodial status and whereabouts of Mohsen Javadi Far and Shafeh Ariz, precise details currently unavailable.

 

Consequently, taking into account the arrest of Mr. Taher Rasouli, the number of detainees in Piranshahr on Monday of this week has reached eleven individuals. Notably, Rasoul Javadi Far and Musa Ardeshiri have been released, while the remaining nine detainees remain in custody.
