Masoud Darsanj, a resident of Bukan who was apprehended during the "Jin, Jyan, Azadi" movement and subsequently sentenced to 33 months of incarceration, has been relocated to the municipal penitentiary to facilitate the enforcement of the detention order.
 

According to a report received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Monday, June 5th, 2023, Masoud Darsanj, a Bukan origin, was detained following a summons to  Bukan's enforcement of orders brunch. Consequently, he was transferred to the central prison oh Bukan to commence his 33-month sentence.
 

Mr. Darsanj had previously received a 33-month imprisonment ruling from Branch 101 of the Bukan Criminal Court on allegations of "affiliation with one of the Kurdish opposition parties in Iran, participation in protests, dissemination of videos and footage of protests to anti-government media outlets, the inscription and dissemination of anti government slogans in public”. 
 

Masoud Darsanj was apprehended by Iranian government authorities in Bukan on Sunday, January 15th, 2023. Hengaw had previously disclosed that the government forces had also confiscated his mobile phone and laptop.
 

After one month of detention, Masoud Darsanj was provisionally released in February upon posting bail in the amount of 350 million tomans.
