Residents of Kamyaran and environmental activists Yaser Saberi, Mohsen Dadgar, and Saed Dadgar were detained by gov forces after attempting to contain forest fires in Kosalan.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, revolutionary guards detained three environmental activists and residents of Kamyaran, including Mohsen Dadgar and Saed Dadgar, both from Deyvaznav  the Central District of Sarvabad County, and Yaser Sabri from Kamyaran.

On their way back from Kosalan Mountain in Sarvabad county to Kamyaran, the Revolutionary Guards stopped the car carrying these environmental activists and detained them on the pretext of "no go area", according to reliable sources.

Yaser Sabri, Mohsen Dadgar, and Saed Dadgar were taken to the detention facility of the IRGC's intelligence department in Sanandaj.

During the previous two weeks, these troops' artillery and suicide drone attacks targeted the Kosalan Mountain in Sarvabad county. Additionally, there were two armed engagements between IRGC troops and The Kurdistan Free Life Party (PJAK) guerrillas. As a result, there has been an extensive blaze.

It is noteworthy that the IRGC forces prevented people from going to this area to control the deliberate fires set by this institution of government in the Kosalan Mountains.
