He is among the dozens of protesters of the "Jin, Jian, Azadi" movement who have silently endured their injuries and damages inflicted upon them by Iranian government forces.

According to a report received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, Sajjad Rahmati, a 26-year-old resident of Abdanan, located in Ilam Province, was injured during the midst of the widespread protests in the city. Eventually, he had to undergo surgery to remove his left eye, resulting in the loss of his vision.

It is important to note that Sajjad Rahmati, a graduate of Software Engineering from Amir Kabir University of Arak, has lost his vision in his left eye following two surgical procedures to repair a central nerve tear and retinal detachment.
