Uncertainty Regarding Custodial Status of Four Detainees in Basht

Farshad Etemadifar, Saman Hormatnejad, Davood Hormatnejad, and Mahan Sajadi, residents of Basht, have been detained for over two weeks, with no available information concerning their current locations.
 

According to a report obtained by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, the aforementioned individuals, hailing from the village of "Pichab" in Basht county in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad province, remain in custody with no clarity pertaining to their circumstances after two weeks since their apprehension.
 

The lack of communication or visitation with their families from Farshad Etemadifar, Saman Hormatnejad, Davood Hormatnejad, and Mahan Sajadi has contributed to growing apprehension within their respective families regarding their overall well-being in recent days.
 

To date, no details have emerged regarding the charges leveled against these individuals, nor has any information regarding their specific whereabouts and the conditions they face subsequent to their arrest by government forces.
 

The above Four individuals from Basht were taken into custody on Friday, June 16th, 2023 by Islamic republic government forces.
