In recent days, three Kurdish individuals from Naqadeh, by the names Farhad Ismaili, Asoo Gholamzadeh, and Ahad Taheri, have been apprehended by government forces and subsequently relocated to undisclosed facilities.
According to information obtained by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday afternoon, 4th of July, 2023, Farhad Esmaili, originally from Naqadeh and residing in Urmia, was arrested by the Intelligence Forces affiliated with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the city of Urmia.
On the day prior Monday, July 3rd, 2023, Asou Gholamzadeh, a 34-year-old individual from Naqadeh, was also detained by the Intelligence Forces operating within the same city.
Furthermore, on Sunday, July 2nd, 2023, Ahad Taheri, a 21-year-old resident of Naqadeh, was apprehended at his workplace in Naqadeh city by a group of government forces.
These individuals have been subjected to detention by government forces without the presentation of any legal documentation, leaving their charges, as well as their current whereabouts and detention locations, undisclosed and inaccessible.
