According to the information received by the Hengaw Organization For Human Rights, On the afternoon of Monday, July 17, 2023, an armed conflict occurred between the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) guerrillas and the IRGC forces in the Qashqa Bolagh area of Khoy city. As a result of this armed conflict, the IRGC forces carried out a heavy artillery attack in the Qashqa Bolagh area, destroying over 30 livestock belonging to the local citizens.
