 15 days after the arrest of Zahra Saeedianju, the sister of Milad Saeedianju, one of the victims of the nationwide protest crackdowns in Izeh, she has not yet been granted permission to meet or contact anyone.

 

According to the report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, the family of Milad Saeedianju, a young man who was killed in Izeh, visited the Ahvaz Prosecutor's Office to meet with their daughter, Zahra Saeedianju. However, the prosecutor's office denied them permission.

 

According to reliable sources, Zahra Saeedianju was denied face-to-face visits both during her detention period in Tehran and in the days following her transfer to Ahvaz.

On Sunday, July 9, 2023, Zahra Saeedianju, a member of the plaintiff's family, was arrested by Iranian government forces in Tehran.

 

Earlier, Hengaw reported the arrest of four members of Milad Saeedianju's family, named Narges Saeedianju, Zahra Saeedianju, Omid Saeedianju, and their mother, Touba Begdili, on March 1st of the previous year. These individuals are part of the plaintiff's family and were eventually released after some time.

 

Milad Saeedianju, a laborer born in February 1997, was fatally shot by Iranian government forces on November 16, 2022, on South Hafez Street, in front of the "Sahib Al Zaman" Mosque, Izeh, during the "Jin, Jiyan, Azadi" movement.
