Rasul Gagashi, a porter (Kolbar) from Sardasht, was deliberately striked with a border patrol vehicle and killed during a pursuit in Baneh borders.
According to a report received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on Saturday evening, August 5th, 2023, Rasul Gagashi, from the village of "Kani Zard" in the central part of Sardasht, was killed when the armed forces of the Islamic Republic deliberately ran him over with their vehicle while he was working as a porter in the border area near the village of "Shilman" in Baneh.
Sources familiar with the matter revealed that Rasul Gagash, the deceased porter, was 50 years old, married, and a father of five children.
As of the time of this reporting, the body of Rasul Gagashi is being held at the Salahaddin Ayubi Hospital and has not yet been handed over to the family for burial.
