Frmesk Babaei, a Kurdish woman from Paveh city, has been violently arrested by Iranian government forces and transferred to the detention center of government institutions on the eve of the anniversary of Ayatollah Khomeini’s religious order of Jihad against Kurdistan. 
 

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, at around noon on Thursday, 17 August 2023, Frmesk Babaei, a Kurdish citizen from Paveh, was arrested by Iranian government forces in this city and taken to the Iranian Intelligence detention center.
 

According to Hengaw’s sources in Paveh, simultaneously with the preparation of a special ceremony on the eve of the anniversary of Khomeini's jihad against Kurdistan in the education examination hall of Paveh city, Frmesk Babaei, a protesting citizen, was arrested by the Iranian government forces in a very violent manner with the offense. 


According to one of the eyewitnesses, Ehsan Azimi, an Iranian intelligence agent in the Wahdat Corps of IRGC and an employee of the Post Office of this city, also Salam Deshaei, an employee of the Paveh Custom House , were involved in the violent and offensive arrest of Frmesk Babaei.
 

August 18 is the anniversary of Ruhollah Khomeini's Jihad against the people of Kurdistan, following this order of Jihad, thousands of Iranian people in the form of armed groups of the army, IRGC, and volunteer forces, accompanied by the air force and heavy artillery support, entered the cities of Kurdistan and started massacring the civilians in Kurdistan.
 

Based on the statistics recorded in the Statistics and Documents Center of Hengaw, in just three years after Khomeini’s order of Jihad against Kurdistan, at least 518 Kurdish citizens, including dozens of women and children, were executed or machine-gunned by the Iranian armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
 

In the years following the large-scale military attack, this killing and repression have been continuing in Kurdistan with the support of Khomeini's jihad order by the Iranian security and military forces.
