The judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran has once again summoned 28 protesters from Abadan, residents of the Ilam province, despite their previous detention and closure of their  cases. The names of the aforementioned individuals are as followed. Ismaeil Bawir, Alireza Solimani, Babak Daniyali, Mohammad Hajian, Yaddollah Jandi, Ali Mohammadi, Khaled Shah-Mohammadi, Alireza Arvaneh, Hossein Koolivandi, Hamid Bochani, Rouhollah Rahimi, Behrouz Sheikhi, Jalal Abdullahi, Hossein Lalehzari, Reza Moradkhani, Mousa Sabzavari, Ali Koolivandi, Sajjad Rahmani, Amirhossein Valizadeh, Armin Khairi, Sajjad Khairi, Ahmad Alizadeh, Behzad Khairi, Mohammad Bochani, Kourosh Rahmati, Mohammad Darayi, Ehsan Solimani, and Mostafa Alizadeh.

 

According to reports received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, recently, the Ilam Revolutionary Court has summoned 28 residents from Abadan in Ilam province and attached a copy of the verdict related to the Jin, Jian, Azadi (Life, Women, Freedom) movement from the previous year to the summons.
 

Among these individuals, except for Ahmad Alizadeh, a 50-year-old teacher from Abadan, the cases of other detained residents had been officially closed earlier through a memorandum known as "amnesty."
 

Previously, Branch One of the Ilam Revolutionary Court had sentenced Ahmad Alizadeh to 6 years and 1 day of imprisonment for charges of "forming a group or organization of more than two people with the intention of disrupting national security" and "propaganda against the regime,"
 

According to this summons, Ismaeil Bavir, Alireza Soltani, Babak Daniyali, Mohammad Hajian, Yaddollah Jandi, Ali Mohammadi, Khaled Shah-Mohammadi, Alireza Arvaneh, Hossein Koolivandi, Hamid Bochani, Rouhollah Rahimi, Behrouz Sheikhi, Jalal Abdullahi, Hossein Lalehzari, Reza Moradkhani, Mousa Sabzavari, Ali Koolivandi, Sajjad Rahmani, Amirhossein Valizadeh, Armin Khairi, Sajjad Khairi, Ahmad Alizadeh, Behzad Khairi, Mohammad Bochani, Kourosh Rahmati, Mohammad Darayi, Ehsan Soltani, and Mostafa Alizadeh are required to appear in Branch One of the Ilam Revolutionary Court on Monday, September 10th, 2023.
 

In response to this unlawful summons, the families of the aforementioned individuals have declared that they will soon organize a widespread protest rally.
