The Intelligence Department and the Judicial System of the Islamic Republic of Iran have threatened and pressured the family of Mohammad Hassanzadeh, the victim of the movement of 'Jin, Jiyan, Azadi', due to the media coverage of the arrest of family members and activities on the early days of the anniversary of the uprisings.

According to Hengaw Organization for Human Rights reports, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, the 56-year-old Ahmad Hassanzadeh, and the 29-year-old Solmaz Hassanzadeh, a father and sister of Mohammad Hassanzadeh, who was killed during the 'Jin, Jiyan, Azadi' uprising, were illegally detained by the Bukan Intelligence Department.

According to a reliable source, these two arrested members of the Hassanzadeh family were taken to Bukan Prosecutor Ali Zahid's office. Then, they were subjected to threats that they should disavow and deny the information that the Hengaw Organization published about the false claims made by the Mizan website (an official website related to the judiciary) to deny the manner of Mohammad Hosseinzadeh's death.

Also, the prosecutors and interrogators of the intelligence department of Bukan have warned Ahmad Hassanzadeh and Solmaz Hassanzadeh not to hold any ceremonies on the anniversary of the 'Jin Jiyan Azadi' movement.

Also, according to a source close to their family, they were even threatened by "physical removal" and death.

All these pressures by the Iranian security institutions are taking place while the Islamic Republic of Iran's judicial system claimed on September 7th of this year, after ten months, that Mohammad Hassanzadeh was killed in the course of a personal dispute. However, despite all the denials, the threats against this family have increased day by day.

Earlier in a report, Hengaw stated: The information published by the Iranian security institutions is purely false and lacks any legal documentation or proven evidence.

Additionally, Mohammad Hassanzadeh was killed on Wednesday evening, November 16, 2022, during the public protests in Bukan. While trying to release a girl from the repressive government forces, he was attacked. He was found dead with multiple stab wounds and a bullet that hit his chest.
