Arsalan Safiyari, a resident of Piranshahr, was severely injured as a result of a landmine explosion while working as a porter at the Piranshahr border.
According to a report received by the Hengaw organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Friday, September 29, 2023, Arsalan Safiyari, a 40-year-old "Kolber" (Porter) from the village of "Gazgasak" in the suburbs of Piranshahr, was severely wounded in the leg area due to a landmine explosion near the border area of “Hajji Omaran” in the Zinewy Mountains.
According to an informed source, the injured “Kolber” was transported by ambulance to the Choman city hospital and from there to medical facilities in the city of Hewlêr (Erbil) for treatment.
