Keywan Rahimi, a social and media activist from Saqqez, has been detained by the forces of the  Intelligence department following his call to release Hero Qadimi, Sherkou Hejazi, and Azad Amini, three civil activists who were previously detained.
 

According to reports received by the Hengaw organization for human rights, at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, Keywan Rahimi was detained by intelligence forces in his private residence in Saqqez.
 

Keywan Rahimi was detained for emphasizing the humanitarian activities of Hero Qadimi, Sherkou Hejazi, and Azad Amini and calling to end their detention by the government of Iran and their immediate release.
 

This social activist, an administrator of a telegram channel by the title "Saqqez Query,” sided with the activities of Hero Qadimi, Sherkou Hejazi, and Azad Amini and referred to their detention by security agencies as an injustice and without legal justification.
 

Azad Amini was detained on September 15th, Hero Qadimi on September 12th, and Sherkou Hejazi on September 11th by the intelligence forces in Saqqez. These civil activists were transferred to Sanandaj (Sine) detention centers and are currently held incommunicado.
 

Meanwhile, Hero Qadimi, due to chronic illnesses, high blood pressure, spinal cord injuries, and the unavailability of his medication, is in critical condition in the women's ward of Sanandaj Central Prison, and his situation is very concerning.
