Ruzgar Nouri arrested by intelligence forces in Marivan, whereabouts unknown

Ruzgar Nouri, a 20-year-old Kurdish resident of Marivan, has been arrested by agents of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence. No information is currently available regarding the reasons for his detention or his whereabouts.
According to information received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Nouri, originally from the village of Serahouyeh in the Kalaterzan district of Sanandaj (Sine), was arrested on the night of Monday, July 28, 2025. His arrest took place in the Kani Dinar neighborhood of Marivan.
Sources told Hengaw that intelligence forces carried out the arrest without presenting a warrant. Since his detention, Nouri has been held incommunicado, and authorities have refused to disclose his location or any charges brought against him.
