Farid Vatani Rasul, a young Kolbar from Marivan, was killed by gunfire from IRGC forces in the border region of the city.
According to a report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Tuesday, October 17, 2023, IRGC forces opened fire on Farid Vatani Rasul, a 34-year-old resident of the "Sardoshi" neighborhood in Marivan, resulting in his untimely death.
An informed source disclosed that Farid Vatani Rasul, a father of three, sustained multiple gunshot wounds from IRGC forces near Daroran village, situated at the border of Marivan.
The injuries inflicted on this Kolbar were so severe that his body continued to bleed even during the burial ceremony.
Last night, the family and relatives of Mr. Vatani Rasul received his body and laid him to rest today.
