Kolbar from Saqqez seriously injured by border forces' direct fire in Baneh

A Kurdish kolbar from Saqqez, identified as Bahram (surname unknown), was seriously injured after being directly shot by Iran’s border regiment forces along the Baneh border region.
According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Tuesday, July 29, 2025, Bahram, 35, a father of two from the village of Mik in Saqqez and a resident of Tarkhanabad in Baneh, was severely wounded by direct fire from border forces in the Eshtarebad area of Nanur District, Baneh.
Informed sources stated that the forces opened fire while the kolbar was en route to his work and was not carrying any goods at the time.
The injured kolbar was initially taken to Salahaddin Ayoubi Hospital in Baneh for medical treatment but was later transferred to a hospital in Saqqez due to the severity of his injuries.
