Baneh – Kolbar Rahman Rasoulzadeh killed by heavy machine-gun fire from Iranian border forces

Rahman Rasoulzadeh, a kolbar from Baneh, was killed after being directly targeted by heavy machine-gun fire from the border regiment forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran at the Hengejal border area.

According to a report received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Rasoulzadeh was shot dead on Sunday, August 17, 2025, by direct fire from border regiment forces.

Details indicate that he was struck by rounds fired from a DShK heavy machine gun and died instantly.

His body was later transferred to Salahuddin Ayoubi Hospital in Baneh.
