In continuation of the ongoing pressures on the Baha'i community, ten Baha'i women, namely Neda Badakhsh, Arezoo Sobhanian, Yeganeh Rouhbakhsh, Mozhgan Shahrezaei, Parastoo Hakim, Yeganeh Agahi, Bahareh Lotfi, Shana Shoghifar, Negin Khademi, and Neda Emadi, were apprehended by the security forces in Isfahan.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Monday, October 23, 2023, ten female Baha'i adherents were apprehended individually within their residences in Isfahan.

According to Hengaw sources, the security forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran conducted searches and inspections of these individuals' residences, subsequently confiscating some of their personal belongings.

Neda Badakhsh, Arezoo Sobhanian, Yeganeh Rouhbakhsh, Mozhgan Shahrezaei, Parastoo Hakim, Yeganeh Agahi, Bahareh Lotfi, Shana Shoghifar, Negin Khademi, and Neda Emadi were subsequently relocated to undisclosed locations following their arrest.

It is worth noting that Yeganeh Agahi had been previously detained by the security forces in 2015 due to her activities and had been sentenced by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
