5 Kolbers wounded at the border of Baneh

During the past few days, at least five Kolbers from the cities of Sanandaj, Saqqez, and Baneh were seriously injured by the direct fire from the Iranian border guards stationed at the Hengejal-Baneh border, one of whom, named Kamran Rahimi, was taken to Tabriz medical centers.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on the evening of Thursday, November 9, 2023, Iranian Border guards stationed at the Hengejal border of Baneh opened fire on a number of Kolbers and as a result, one of them identified as Kamran Rahimi from Baneh was severely injured.

According to Hengaw’s sources, Kamran Rahimi is married and the father of two children.

Also, on Monday, November 7, two Kolbers named Hadi and Zanko, both from Saqqaz and one Kolber from Sanandaj named Mohammad, along with another Kolber from Saqqez, whose identity has not yet been confirmed, were injured by direct fire from the Iranian Border Guards at the border of Hengejal-Baneh.

These four Kolbers were shot in the waist, thigh, and arm and were severely injured. They were later taken to Salahuddin Ayubi Hospital in Baneh for treatment.
