Three Baloch citizens arrested in Zahedan by Iranian security forces

Mehrullah Shahbakhsh and two brothers named Saeed Shahbakhsh and Mehdi Shahbakhsh, Baloch citizens from Zahedan, were arrested by the Iranian security forces in this city and transferred to an undisclosed location.

According to the report received by the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, Saeed Shahbakhsh, 24 years old, Mehdi Shahbakhsh, 22 years old, and Mehrullah Shahbakhsh, 23 years old, were arrested in Zahedan.

 These three citizens were arrested in their homes located in the Sefidak district of ​​Zahedan City without providing judicial permission to the security forces.

Saeed, Mehdi Shahbakhsh, and Mehrullah Shahbakhsh were transferred to an undisclosed location after their arrest, and the follow-up of their condition by their families was left unanswered.

So far, there is no detailed information about the reasons for the arrest and the charges against these Baloch citizens.
