Citizen in Dehloran Loses Leg in Mine Explosion + Statistics

Hengaw: A citizen was injured severely due to a mine explosion in borders of Ilam province.

On Tuesday, December 4, a citizen in Mosian, Dehloran city was injured severely in a mine explosion incident, based on the report of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.

" 60 year old citizen lost a leg and nearly bleeded to death in a mine explosion incident", Said Asadaollah Mohajer, Dehloran's medical center director.

The citizen was transferred to Ilam's medical center.

Since fall of 2018, two citizens has been killed and 11 citizens been injured due to mine explosions in Kurdistan's borders, according to the statistics center of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.
