Hengaw: A Kurdish citizen from Saqez was arrested on charges of supporting the Kurdistan of Iraq's region's independence and sentenced to confinement.

On Thursday, January 17, Atta Rahmanzadeh, 50, from Saqez who had been arrested and sentenced to one year of nonsuspended confinement on charges of supporting the referandum for independency of Kurdistan of Iraq's region was transferred to the central prison of the city, according to the report of Hengaw Organisation for Human Rights.

In the spring of 2017, Atta Rahmanzade son of Haji Ali was sentenced to one year of nonsuspended confinement on charges of Propaganda against Iran's regime and supporting the referandum for independency of Kurdistan of Iraq's region.

Atta Rahmanzadeh known as Shamal Saqezi had been arrested in September 2017, by the security forces of the city and was released on a 70 million Toman bail temporarily until his court session.
