Seven Kurds Arrested by Iranian Intelligence Service in Mahabad

Hengaw: Iranian forces in Mahabad, Western Azerbaijan province, have arrested seven Kurds over the past few days.

According to the reports received by Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, the detainees were accused of membership in Kurdish opposition parties.

Identity of the detainees in the most recent wave of arrests is as” Sohrab Qaderzade, Salim Shekhanejad, Hemin Ismaili, Omid Qaderi, and Khaled Kawlani.

Earlier on Saturday, Iranian forces arrested Hoshyar Amini, and Sherko Abbas Taher.

The seven men were reportedly sent to the intelligence service headquarter in Urmia with their fait remaining unknown.
